Director’s bio

Greta was born in 1992 Independent Lithuania. After growing up and graduating from high school, she left to explore the bigger world.  The passion for directing, led Greta to move around the Europe and work as an assistant director, script writer and slowly start making her own movies. “Tickle My Pickle” is her debut short film. Now she is studying her MA in Directing at Goldsmiths University of London.

Director’s statement

‘Tickle My Pickle’ is a piece of popping candy, that keeps surprising you with the flavours the longer you keep on going. It’s a bold statement made about female sexuality and desires. It definitely gets hot, so you better bring some ice to cool you down. “Tickle My Pickle” opens doors to the sacral space of a young girl, unleashing her primal animalistic needs and exploring her lust and sexuality while fantasising over the Milkman. Filled with uncomfortable innuendos, this film satirically looks at coming of age theme as well as gets you in the mood. Stuffy rooms, lusty suffocation, extremely crunchy pickles, come and bring the milk to shake.

Constructing a Set of a Teenage Girls Bedroom was an amazing accomplishment by Tim Stuart the Production Designer. Pulling so many favors and filming on a very tight budget, Tickle My Pickle was filmed in 1 day .
